15 months check up

Went to Lynn's 15 months check up this afternoon.

height = 30.5 inches (77.5 cm)
weight = 20 lb (9.05 kg)
head = 47.2 centimeters

Length = between percentile 25 and 50
Weight = between percentile 5 and 10
Head Circumference = between percentile 75 and 90

Teeth: bruising is normal (not common, but yes it does happen), the molar will cut thru eventually, and sometimes might bleed, but she will most likely just swallow it.

Oral hygiene: Lynn would use a brush in her mouth now. So Dr. Santa Claus suggest that we say "let me help you" when she's playing with the brush, usually kids will let you. Will give that a try later.

height and weight: growing at a steady rate since birth, will probably turn out to be a small/medium person. Other than that, she seems to be perfectly healthy and happy.

language development: also on the normal track. tho not speaking yet, (i reported), understands a lot of words, more than 20 vocab (in English, mandarin, and Taiwanese). Dr. Santa Clause said that is very good and we are to continue speaking to her in Taiwanese at home. And once we move back to TW, (yes we broke the big news today,) keep speaking to her in English, tune in to English radio and television to create that environment.

Dr. asked if she is walking (I said she's running), climbing (oh yeah), dancing (ALL the time), copying whatever mom's doing (yap!).

Asked what kind of fruits we gave her: banana, grapes, cherries, peach, and avocado (oh, right, it's a vegetable... :P) and if she's feeding herself (yes, not very successfully with a fork.) He suggested that we start letting her spoon-feed herself and it will probably take 2-3 weeks for her to get it. (I can't wait!)

What else....?! Will add later if I remember anything. (or not.)
